my Ideas for Short Season 3. Shorter gap between Season 3 and 4. THAT is what i want. a shorter gap. This wait is slowly killing me.

Will this show run as long as Simpsons? NO! NO! NO!

Don't i want it to? No because I'll die of old age and i would love to see a Final Episode before then. Think about Friends. The sitcom, you know the one i mean? Ten Seasons. It was amazing. loved the show. and the final episode was final. everyone moved on with there lives. I wanna see MLP go out with a bang. Gimme 10+ seasons. Don't give me 27 years of "I'm out of NEW ideas for new episodes" Gimme Backstory, Gimme the future. Final Episode gimme a tear jerking moment with Twilight and her daughter!

Look. i love this show, and i never wanna see it end. and as long as we have the fan base that we do and it continues to grow at the rate it is, Friendship is Magic will never die, even when the show is over.

I somewhat disagree. So long as the show stays good, I want it to last longer than myself so that future generations of children can know the same wonders I've known. What would suck, however, is if the show starts to lose it's...specialness in its later life *cough cough* spongebob squarepants *cough cough*.

Regardless, we can at least be certain the fanbase will outlive the show, should it only 10 years. When it does end though, it should go out with a bang capable of bringing a grown man to tears, much like your suggested final scene of Twilight and her daughter. Who knows - that could even possibly be used as a follow-up to a successor to the show where the next generation becomes the new mane six?

A wise old man with a big grey beard (or at least I pictured him as old and bearded...) once told me...

"There's no such thing as a 'best pony'. There is merely *favorite* ponies, for no one individual man can rightfully declare a single truth, regardless of how many other men agree with him. ...people like characters (in this case, ponies) that they relate to the most, and so become very attached and, in some cases, obsessive. This is exactly the reason people can literally fall in love with fictional characters, you see. When you were growing up, did you ever have a crush on the weather-reporter woman, a cartoon character, a comic-girl or even a video-game woman? Characters are fictional people meant to entertain us with a story, and good characters have realistic and relatable personalities. Their fictional lives play out in a fantasy we watch, read or play, and their personalities guide them through what ever adventure they may undertake as real people would. Characters, in truth, are actually representations of real people, or people that could be (even if they are remarkably unrealistic in physical terms), and so, you can become attached to them just like real people. ...now, the next time you see someone say "Luna is best pony", or "Fluttershy is best pony", know that it is nothing more than their opinion, for they, as individuals, have simply decided they like that specific pony more than the others because they really relate to that specific pony. There is no truth in opinion other than the truth that the opinions themselves exist, and it is quite often to see people express their love for characters. What you must decide for yourself, now, is...who do *you* think is the best pony?"

And that, Charlie Brown, is why I love Twilight Sparkle (among other ponies), and think they're the best of the best.

PS: Try to read that in Gandalf's voice.
